A robot is a mechanical or virtual artificial agent, usually an electronic mechanical machine that is guided by a computer program or electronic circuitry, and thus a type of an embedded system.It was invented by George Devol in 1954 and named it Unimate.Here are the some of the latest Robot available in market of 2016:

BB-8 =BB-8 or Beebe-ate is a droid character in the star wars franchise, first appearing in the 2015 film star wars. Spherical with a free-moving domed head, BB-8 is portrayed by both a rod puppet and a remote-controlled robotic unit.BB-8 is a spherical robot with a free-moving domed head. He is white, with orange and silver accents and a black optical lens on its headpiece. BB-8 also possesses multiple panels containing various tools or ports. Scanlan said of the robot's personality, "We always imagined BB-8 as being quite manipulative. I think he knows he’s cute. He knows that he can win people over. And he uses that like children do to get his own way.





ALPHA 2 =The alpha-2 (α₂) adrenergic receptor (or adrenoceptor) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) associated with the  heterotrimeric G-protein.
